How We Review APKs

Every APK published on upcloudgaming.com is installed and tested on real Android phones by our reviewer, Brian Mwangi, before the download button goes live. We never list a build that we have not run ourselves.

During testing we work through the full install flow, check every permission the app requests, measure start-up and streaming performance, watch battery and data use, and confirm the headline features actually work as described.

Tests run on a Samsung Galaxy A55 (Android 15), a Google Pixel 8 (Android 16), a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro (Android 14), an Infinix Note 40 Pro (Android 14) and a Samsung Galaxy A13 (Android 12), so current and older Android versions are both covered.

When a new version appears, the same checks run again before the file on this site is updated. If a build fails a check — a broken install, a crashing feature, an unexpected permission — it is not published until the problem is understood.
